PURPOSE: Striker structure of a hood for a vehicle is provided to prevent a pedestrian from being injured by relieving impact in bumping the upper body of the pedestrian into the hood of the vehicle at a collision. CONSTITUTION: A striker is divided into two strikers, and a first striker is installed in a striker assembly(10). A slide(17) is mounted in the lower part of a hood(22), and combined with a bracket(18). A second striker is combined with the bracket, and the bracket is connected to a stopper(15) in the lower part of the hood by a spring(16). A lever stopper(23) is mounted at the side of the bracket, and a fitting part is formed in the lever stopper. The lever stopper is connected to a spring bracket(20) by a second spring(19), and jointed to a lever(14). The bracket is moved back along the groove of the slide with restoring force of the spring by releasing the lever from the lever stopper. The lever is connected to an impact detecting lever(21). The pedestrian is protected with relieving impact in bumping into the hood at a collision.
