The heat pump (C) for geothermal building heating or air conditioning has multiple thermal probes (S) connected between discharge and inlet manifolds. these are connected to the heat pump generator (P). At least some of the thermal sensors are buried with an angle to the surface and are placed in predrilled holes. The thermal probes can be formed of coaxial tube sections.
