textile industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves obtaining thread from melt of polyamide 6.6 with granulate having relative viscosity RV.75 measured in 90% formic acid by ASTM D 789-81 method. Water content in polymer after supplying water upstream of extruder is 0.04-0.14 wt%. Winding speed Vs. p. = (Fto/Ftx)3.Vspo, where Ft is strength in sthene/tex, Fto=84 sthene/tex, Ftx is effective value of Ft, Vspo=2,750 m/min. Thread may have at granulate viscosity RV > 90, moisture content > 0.06% and strength Ft.90 sthene/tex an amount of nodes Fi (Ftx/Fto)3.Vspx/Vspo.Ttx/Tto, where Tto is metric number of 940 decitex and Ttx is metric number at winding speed of Vspx. Method allows commercial thread, in particular, polyamide thread PA 6.6 with minimal amount of nodes to be produced. Such thread may be introduced into cord fabrics incorporated into rubber used for manufacture of conveyor belts, drive belts, tires.
