LCD BACKLIGHT MODULE AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING MICRO LENS ARRAY SHEET THEREOF

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) backlight module and a method for fabricating a micro lens array sheet thereof are provided to form a condensing plate having a cylindrical micro lens array having a large refraction index, and to produce replicas of the condensing plate, so as to increase quantity of light radiated to liquid crystal and improve optical uniformity between components. CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate(22) is positioned on an upper part of a reflecting plate(23). A lamp(24) positioned at one side of the light guide plate(22) makes light incident to the light guide plate(22). A lamp cover(25) surrounding the lamp(24) reflects the light radiated from the lamp(24) to the light guide plate(22). A micro lens array sheet(10), in which a cylinder-shaped micro lens having a convex structure of a vertical section per each pixel row parallel to the lamp(24) is arranged, makes the light incident thereto. And a diffuser plate(21) formed on an upper part of the light guide plate(22) allows the light incident to the light guide plate(22) and reflected through the reflecting plate(23) to be incident to the micro lens array sheet(10).
