<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-film solar battery, to prevent performance of the thin-film solar battery from decreasing, accompanied by a local short-circuit in a unit cell, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: There are provided a photovoltaic conversion part formed by sequentially laminating a first electrode layer L, a photovoltaic conversion layer a and a transparent electrode layer u on the surface of a substrate 1; a third electrode layer b and a fourth electrode layer e as a connection electrode layer formed on the rear surface of the substrate; and an electric insulation layer I formed between the third electrode layer and the fourth electrode layer. In a thin-film solar battery, positions of the photovoltaic conversion layer and the connection electrode layer are mutually shifted to pattern a unit part, and via an electrical series-connected connection hole H, formed in a region where the transparent electrode layer is formed, neighboring unit photovoltaic conversion components (unit cells) which are mutually patterned on the surface are series-connected electrically. The third electrode layer b and the fourth electrode layer e are composed of a plural layer structure which comprises a layer made of a single metal or an alloy material and a layer made of a transparent electrode material, and also the layer made of the transparent electrode material is formed for the electric insulating layer.</p> |
