<p>This invention refers to a useful multipolymer in aqueous dispersion for application in the fields of coating, textile, adhesive, paper, civil construction, etc., and more specifically paints. Furthermore, the invention also refers to compositions containing a multipolymer and a process to obtain a multipolymer. The multipolymer in aqueous dispersion of the invention comprises at least four monomers, comprising a hard monomer, an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid ester at the positions α,β; a monomer selected from a conjugated diene and butene and an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid at the positions α,β or amides of said acid. The economic architectural paints used for buildings when formulated with a multipolymer of the invention have higher washing resistance, less color fading than paints formulated with polymers currently used for the same application.</p> |
