PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus which can operate adaptively to user's intentions through using the variable transmission speed. SOLUTION: This wireless communication apparatus can change the transmission speed. The base stations, which register the location of the wireless communication apparatus, can accumulate temporarily the transmission data to the wireless communication apparatus. Through using the property that power consumption of the communication apparatus changes due to the difference of the transmission speeds, the operation mode on the wireless communication apparatus is selected whether the data transmission speed or the apparatus operation time takes priority. Users can set the operation mode through selecting either the battery life or the data transmission efficiency. |
