PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device for a boring machine for boring a slope face, having a clamping mechanism preventing the center line of a guide cell from being displaced when the guide cell is fixed. SOLUTION: In the supporting device 1 for the boring machine 7 for boring the slope face, the front end part of the guide cell 2 for supporting the boring machine 7 in such a manner as to be free to move backward and forward is provided with the clamping mechanism 3 for fixing the guide cell 2 to a grating crib 11 constructed in the slope face N by clamping the grating crib 11 from both sides. The clamping mechanism 3 is constituted in such a manner that the backward load on the guide cell 2, which is generated under a boring operation, serves as clamping force for the grating crib 11.
