PURPOSE: A system and a method for subscribing an electronic publication are provided to reduce a subscription fee and to use it conveniently whenever and wherever by subscribing the desiring electronic publication according to a page through the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A system for subscribing an electronic publication is comprised of a user system(101) and a web server system(102). The user system(101) includes an input unit(11), a screen display unit(12), and an Internet connection unit(13). The web server system(102) comprises a certification unit(14), a member management unit(15), a publication management unit(18), a settlement processing unit(16), and a storing unit(17). The screen display unit(12) displays inputted information and the electronic publication on a screen. The Internet connection unit(13) includes a modem or LAN(Local Area Network) card and a web browser in order to connect the user system(101) to the web server system(102) through the Internet network. The certification unit(14) inputs an ID(Identification) and a password in order to confirm an identity of the user. The member management unit(18) manages the information inputted from the certificated user.
