<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-screening, electrically insulating material excellent in light screening properties and electrically insulating properties and provide a light screening composition comprising the material. SOLUTION: By using a surfactant (A), a black material (B) is coated with an electrically insulating material (C) to produce a light-screening, electrically insulating material (D). A light screening composition is produced by incorporating a binder into the light-screening, electrically insulating material (D). As a black material, a carbonaceous material such as carbon black, graphite, carbon fiber or the like is used. A black matrix and a color filter are produced using the light-screening composition.</p> |
