<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for changing a cross angle in traveling by which an excellent control effect is obtained in a sheet shape, sheet crown, edge drop or the like when changing the cross angle in accordance with a continuous rolled stock into which a preceding tolled stock and the succeeding rolled stock are joined and various rolling conditions during operation of rolling with a roll shifting type rolling mill. SOLUTION: Based on the actual value of the cross angle just before changing the cross angle, the changing amount of the cross angle is decided. The changing amountΔθof the cross angle is calculated by the equation 1. Where,θ1set is a calculated value for setting the cross angle to the rolling conditions before changing the cross angle,θ2set is a calculated value for setting the cross angle to the rolling conditions after changing the cross angle andθ1act is an actual value of the cross angle just before changing the cross angle.</p> |
