LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery. SOLUTION: The lithium secondary battery is equipped with a take-up type electrode assembly and its storing casing and includes an ion conductive polymer in at least either a hollow of the take-up type electrode assembly or an internal space of the casing. As the lithium secondary battery consumes heat generated in the battery inside the hollow in the electrode assembly and disperses the same heat by filling the ion conductive polymer deforming into a gal due to the electrolytic solution. As a result, it restrains destruction and explosion of the battery and improves the battery reliability and safety.
