PURPOSE: A hanging rod connector for a cloth hanger is provided to firmly support by integrating a metal locking hook and to keep the locking rod stable by forming a cover to be smaller than a supporting portion. CONSTITUTION: A connecting member comprises: a cylindrical body(4a) having a semicircular supporting portion(41) with a guiding groove(42); a locking hook(4b) having an upper portion(43) and inserted in a feeding slot by vertically insert-injecting; and a cover(4c) having a guiding protrusion(45) and a supporting sill(46) to be inserted through the guiding groove and having a smaller diameter than the diameter of the supporting portion so that additional welding or additional assembling is unnecessary and large loads are endured.
