The bed (1) has an essentially rectangular cover (3) with a length at least equal to the distance between the bed end walls (1b). Two essentially parallel elastic bands (3a, 3b) in the cover extend in the cover length direction, separated by a distance essentially equal to the width of the bed. The bands have tensioning devices (4) at each end for securing them to the bed posts (1c), so that the cover section (3c) in between the bands forms a roof over the bed. The cover sections (3d) on the outer sides of the bands are sufficiently wide to cover the gap between the roof and the bed base (1a). |
