PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To splice together the end of an advanced film F1 and the tip of a subsequent film F2 accurately with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This roll film splicing device comprises a transfer means feeding an advanced film F1 and a subsequent film F2 through a splicing station S, a pair of splicing members 21 and 22 disposed at the splicing station S so as to be moved closely to and apart from each other on both sides of a film transfer route and having opposed surfaces used as sucking surfaces 63 and 66, a pair of cutters 23 and 24 disposed so as to be projected from and recessed into the sucking surfaces 63 and 66 of the splicing members 21 and 22, and a cutter receiver 25 disposed so as to be moved closely to and away from a clearance between both splicing members 21 and 22 when the splicing members are separated from each other. |
