PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video conference system that can transmit CM data prepared in advance to members connected to a communication management unit of a center through the use of their video conference terminals. SOLUTION: The communication management unit 3 is provided with an MCU 31 that interconnects video conference terminals 1a, 1b,..., 1n via communication channels 2a, 2b,..., 2n, a CM data storage section 33 that store one CM data or more in advance in cross reference with respective management numbers, a number storage section 35 that stores each management number of the CM data and each ID number in cross reference with each other and a management section 36 that integrally manages the components of the unit 3. The management section 36, when setting up connection to one of the video conference terminals 1a, 1b,..., 1n, or more, detects a corresponding management number from the number storage section 35 on the basis of the ID number of the connected video conference terminal, extracts the CM data of the detected management number from the CM data storage section 33 and transmits the data to the video conference terminal of the ID number. |
