PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diversity receiver with a reduced circuit scale that can obtain a signal synthesis output and to provide a diversity reception method, a synthesis transmitter and a synthesis transmission method. SOLUTION: A 1st multiplexer 13 sequentially selects and outputs reception signals by each of systems. On the other hand, a plurality of weighting signals corresponding to the reception signals are normalized and selected by a 2nd multiplexer 10. An output of the 2nd multiplexer 10 is synchronously with an output of the 1st multiplexer 13, a multiplexer 16 multiplies outputs of both the multiplexers, an accumulator 17 accumulates the multiplied outputs and an output signal resulting from compositing a plurality of the received signals is outputted from an output terminal 8. Then a multiplier that multiplies a weighting signal wit each received signal is not required and the circuit scale of the diversity receiver is not increased even when the number of received signals is increased.
