PURPOSE: A method for decolorization of blue jeans capable of obtaining a desired design in vivid colors using a taping device is provided, which prevents generation of pollution and reduces the cost of a decoloration process by recovering chemical materials to be used for treating raw material. CONSTITUTION: This decolorization method comprises the steps of; supplying hydrochloric acid and aqueous solution of sodium chloride to a liquid tank of electrolysis, electrolyzing to produce chlorine and hydrogen gas and separating an aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite from aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide; attaching a tape to blue jeans to form specified form; dipping the blue jeans attached with the tape in the aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite to regenerate a dye of the blue jeans.
