PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing formation of the end mark of a cold rolled product is provided to prevent formation of end mark, a product defect formed by the thickness level difference of the front part of a strip by forming a groove in a coiling sleeve and exactly positioning the front part of a strip in the groove. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for preventing formation of the end mark of a cold rolled product comprises a sleeve groove (16) formed on a cold rolled steel sheet coiling sleeve (3); a sleeve groove position sensor (17) installed in the sleeve groove (16); an original point position sensor (18) installed at a coiling sleeve expander; position sensors (22,23) installed on a strip supporter (24); a sleeve groove position sensor sensing part (15) and an original point position sensor sensing part (14) installed on a coiling sleeve supporter (13); and a PLC (12) connected to the sleeve groove position sensor sensing part (15), the original point position sensor sensing part (14) and a servo motor (11).
