PURPOSE: An IWF(Inter Working Function element) interface device of an exchange is provided to supply a wireless data service at a processing speed of 64Kbps at maximum, and to simultaneously process 120 subscribers per 1 PBA. CONSTITUTION: In a frame relay unit(30), the first HDLC(High-Level Data Link Control) controllers(31) are connected with an IWF(Inter Working Function element) through E1 lines. The first 64-bit risk CPU(32) is arranged. And the first memory(33) has a cache function and a burst function. In a rate adaptation unit(10), the second HDLC controllers(30) are connected with a control station through SHWs(Sub-HighWays), to simultaneously process at least 120 subscribers. The second 64-bit risk CPU(12) is arranged. And the second memory(13) has a cache function and a burst function. And a 64-bit of shared memory(20) is connected with the first and the second CPUs(32,12). |
