PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a battery residual capacity meter, particularly the control circuit thereof and IC forming the control circuit thereof, from being exposed directly to wind and weather, and also prevent rain water and dirt from entering through a window into the upper and lower covers of a battery for an electric- power assisted bicycle, thus increasing the waterproofness and dustproofness of the battery. SOLUTION: This battery 1 for electric-power assisted bicycle comprises a battery residual capacity meter 10 installed on the inside of an upper cover 31 and a lower cover 32 for storing a battery body 2. An indication part for indicating the residual quantity of electricity and a push button 5b for allowing to indicate on the indication part are provided on the battery residual capacity meter 10. The indication part is formed in a bar graph meter illuminating light emitting diodes 51 to 55 according to the residual quantity of electricity by opening a window in the upper cover 31 and facing the plurality of light emitting diodes 51 to 55 toward the window. A label 70 covering at least a portion corresponding to the window is stuck on a case. |
