PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that expensive color facsimile equipment is necessary for printing received color picture data. SOLUTION: A printing part 13 has only monochrome printing ability. When color picture data are transmitted through communication line 1, color picture data are stored in an FD 10 being an attachable/detachable storage means. Thus, arbitrary color print is obtained by installing the FD 10 on the other device realizing color printing.
