PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposal equipment for waste polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs) (liquid PCBs and oils containing PCBs) suitachable to adequate processes corresponding to the concentration and a method for operating the same. SOLUTION: The disposal equipment for the oils containing PCBs by a dechlorination decomposition process which may be switched to various disposal systems, which equipment has a device for supplying chemicals and treating objects for a system for disposing high-concentration PCBs, a device for supplying the chemicals and treating objects for a system for treating oils polluted with low-concentration PCBs as well as the device for supplying the chemicals, a reaction device and discharge treatment device common to the both systems.
