PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture in simple manner in structure at low cost without requiring large construction space, and improve vibrating property at the time of operation of a continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: Respective chain links which are coupled to each other by cradle pins 104, 106, 108, 110 which are joint devices comprises a plurality of link plates 102, 101 which are arranged in approximate parallel, different from one another, and constituted of first link plate type and second link plate type. The first link plate type and the second link plate type are different from each other in that at least side surfaces of the first link plate type and the second link plate type which are parallel are differently formed from each other.
