PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture processor in which display picture set data are appropriately transferred without the pictures are disturbed coping with surrounding environmental conditions and the period of a different blanking interval. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a processing unit A11a, which processes input video signals having a long period of a vertical blanking interval, a processing unit B11b, which processes output video signals having a short period of the vertical blanking interval, a TG unit 22, which controls an LCD unit 21 and a back light 23, a temperature sensor 24, which detects the temperature of a display unit 2, an audio unit 15, which controls a speaker 25, an EEPROM14, which stores display picture set data corresponding to the temperature, and a CPU 12, which controls the circuits above. When the CPU 12 transfers first data to the unit A11a, the CPU 12 executes the transfer in an input blanking interval. When data transfer is to be made to the unit B11b, the unit 15 and the TG unit 22, the transfer is executed in an output blanking interval.
