PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing integrated type evaporator for refrigerator is provided to achieve an improved performance of refrigerator by avoiding clogging of the refrigerant flowing within the refrigerant pipe. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of forming an evaporator where a refrigerant pipe, a defrost pipe and a radiation fin are incorporated into a single unit; and bending the evaporator at a predetermined space. The refrigerant pipe has a cross section shaped as an ellipsoidal in the step of forming the evaporator, and the evaporator is bent, through a bending unit, to allow the refrigerant to has a stabilized circular cross section in the step of bending the evaporator. The bending unit includes a main roller type jig(20) having a roller(22) with a pair of refrigerant pipe guide grooves formed at the outer periphery of the roller and a support rod(24) penetrating the roller so as to support the roller and which is installed to reciprocate in linear fashion; a pair of auxiliary roller type jigs(30) having a roller(32) and a support rod(34), respectively, and which are disposed to allow rollers(22,32) to contact with each other in accordance with the reciprocating motion of the main roller type jig; and an actuator for actuating the main roller type jig.
