PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photo-color forming recording material having a high color forming density, retaining the non-color forming property of the non-image area even after image formation and capable of giving a stable image. SOLUTION: The recording material has microcapsules containing a polymerizable monomer, a photopolymerization initiator and a photo-acid generating agent as one component which causes photo-color forming reaction and a leuco dye as another component which reacts with the one component and attains photo-color forming on the same face of the substrate, and it has microcapsules containing a component which causes photo-color forming reaction and a component which inhibits the photo-color forming reaction on the same face of the substrate. |
