PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a yarn fluid treatment device which can give a high interlacing degree with a small amount of a fluid and has an excellent energy-saving effect by forming a fluid-jetting hole cross section vertical to the axis of the fluid-jetting hole into a long hole shape having a minor axis in the direction parallel to a yarn guide. SOLUTION: This fluid treatment device has at least one fluid-jetting hole 9 which is opened so that the jetting direction of the hole 9 crosses a yarn guide, and is used for mutually interlacing the filaments of a yarn Y traveling in the yarn guide 10 with a fluid jetted from the fluid-jetting hole 9. Therein, one or more fluid-jetting hole cross sections respectively, vertical to the axes of the fluid-jetting holes 9, are formed in long holes whose minor axes are parallel to the yarn guide 10. The minor axis length L/major axis length W ratio of the long hole is preferably 0.80 to 0.95. Two or more fluid-jetting holes 9 are preferably disposed, and the cross angle of the axes of the adjacent two fluid-jetting holes 9 is preferably >=60 deg.. The angle of the axes of the fluid-jetting holes 9 to the yarn guide are preferably 30 to 150 deg..
