PROCESS FOR PRODUCING ELASTIC FLUOROCOPOLYMER COMPOSITION

A process for producing a composition comprising an elastic fluorocopolymer, a vulcanizing agent, and a vulcanization accelerator, which comprises the steps of coagulating an elastic fluorocopolymer in an aqueous dispersion thereof, collecting the copolymer coagulate, and drying the coagulate while kneading it, and in which a compatibilized mixture of a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanization accelerator is added to the coagulate. Thus, a fluororubber composition can be obtained in which the vulcanizing agent and the vulcanization accelerator are evenly dispersed in the fluororubber and which gives a vulcanizate having stable properties.
