PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable intake of iron contents by using an iron material for at least the bottom of a small container placed in an inner container in an electric rice cooker and accurately hold the small container in position by the magnetic attraction of the iron material. SOLUTION: A small container 9 to be placed on the inner bottom plate of an aluminum inner container 6 in an electric rice cooker body 1 is accurately held in position by a magnet 10 attracting an iron material at the bottom. With heating operation of an electrothermic plate 4, rice and gruel are boiled up at the same time in the inner container 6 in which rice is contained and in the small container 9 in which a water is contained, respectively. These contain iron contents derived from the small container 9, resulting in intake of iron contents required for a human body.
