PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for make-up materials wherein on the lower side, an joint tool which has a coating tool at its forward end and can be sealed in a container body, while at the upper side, a cartridge of a bar-shaped make-up material is mounted so as to be detached so that two kinds of make-up materials can be used with one container. SOLUTION: A cartridge 2 comprises a forward cylinder 50 and a cylindrical body 40. An engaging stripe part 25 is provided at the lower portion of the cylindrical body 40, and when a movable member including a bar-shaped make-up material is inserted into a cavity portion 24 above a joint tool 20, an engagement is made with the part 25 below the cavity, whereby the body 40 can rotate synchronously with the tool 20. By being rotated with the cylinder 50, the make-up material held by the movable member can be moved back and forth, while at the lower portion of the tool 20, a helical groove 21, which can be threadedly engaged so as to be opened and closed with a mouth screw 11 of a liquid container body 10 filled with a liquid make-up material is provided below the tool 20, while a bar-shaped inner axis 30, to which a coating tool is fixed, is secured.
