摘要 PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a thin film transistor substrate for the reflex liquid crystal display is to reduce the number of a mask when fabricating the thin film transistor substrate for the reflective liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: A gate interconnection includes a gate line(200) formed on an insulating substrate, a gate pad(240) connected to the gate line and for receiving a scan signal from the outside, and a gate electrode(220) being a branch of the gate line. A gate insulating layer is formed successively on the gate interconnection except for a pad portion formed with the gate pad. A semiconductor layer(400) is formed on the insulating film, and has a shape equal to the gate insulating layer. A resistivity contact layer pattern is formed on the semiconductor layer. A data interconnection includes a data line(600) intersecting the gate line and defining a pixel region, a source electrode(610) being a branch of the date line, a drain electrode(620) which is opposite to the source electrode at the center of the gate electrode, and a data pad(640) connected to the data line and receiving a picture signal.
