PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming device capable of effectively recoverying heat in the reforming device for producing a hydrogen enriched reformed gas from a fuel source such as hydrocarbon based fuel or alcohol based fuel. SOLUTION: This reforming device is provided with a reforming part 1 packed with a reforming catalyst and for generating a hydrogen enriched reformed gas from the fuel source, a shift part 2 packed with a shift catalyst and for decreasing CO concentration in the reformed gas generated in the reforming part, a combustion part 3, into which fuel for combustion and air for combustion are supplied and which generates a heating gas to heat the shift part 2 after heating the reforming part 1, and a heat exchanger 4 for performing the heat exchange between the heating gas after used for heating the reforming part 1 and the air for combustion. |
