PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a magnetostrictive torque sensor by the small number of part items by providing a torque sensor driving power circuit for impressing sine wave voltage having a value higher than the ground level on the magnetostrictive torque sensor with voltage of a control circuit power source as a reference. SOLUTION: A control circuit power source 106b for equalizing a ground level equal to a battery 105 by a power source processing part 106 is arranged with a battery 5 as an original power source to be supplied to a control circuit 109. The battery 105 is connected to a motor driving circuit power source 106c. Both the motor driving circuit power source 106c and the control circuit power source 106b are connected to a torque sensor driving circuit 108, and the reference voltage is set as control circuit source voltage. A rectangular wave generated by the control circuit 109 is inputted to a torque sensor driving circuit 108 to be converted into a sine wave to be impressed on a magnetostrictive torque sensor 107. Since this constitution does not require to add a power source of negative polarity, the number of part items can be reduced.
