PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a plastic washbowl for a bathroom so that it can dip hot water from a bathtub like a pail. SOLUTION: The flange 2 of this washbowl 1 is formed of a trumpet-shaped slanting part 9, a curved part 10 and a turn-up part 11 smoothly jointed, and a downward finger hooking recess 3 is formed on the rear of the flange. The width of the flange 2 is made larger at two opposite positions where the flange acts as a handle of a pail so that the flange can be grasped more easily. The large width area and the regular width area of the flange 2 are connected to form an ellipse in the plane view, and a notch 6 with a large circular arc is formed in each shorter diameter side of the ellipse. By hooking fingers on the notch 6 and the bottom ring of the washbowl, the washbowl can be handled more variously and conveniently than a pail.
