<p>In the absence of pulses from a pulse generator (105) when an object (5) to be inspected is not in the imaging range (a range of irradiation by an X-ray source (1)) in an X-ray image intensifier (2), the voltage applied by the grid voltage control (110) to a first grid electrode (71) in an X-ray tube (11) is controlled with respect to a predetermined negative voltage at a negative voltage generator (112), whereas in the presence of pulses from a pulse generator (105) when an object (5) to be inspected is in the imaging range (a range of irradiation by an X-ray source (1)) in an X-ray image intensifier (2) in the absence of pulses from a pulse generator (105), the voltage applied by the grid voltage control (110) to a first grid electrode (71) in an X-ray tube (11) is controlled with respect to a positive reference voltage at a reference voltage generator (115), thereby stabilizing both cutoff voltage and grid voltage.</p> |
