PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove, to a chassis side, static elecricity generated at the time of paper sheet feed, with inexpensive and simple structure. SOLUTION: In this paper sheet feeder, a paper sheet P is supplied to a paper sheet feeding port 11 of a case body 10, a paper sheet feeding roller 14 abutting to the sheet P is rotated, the sheet P is supplied thereby between a feed roller 15 and a deflector 26, and the feed roller 15 is intenmittently rotated to feed the sheet P with a prescribed pitch. The deflector 26 comprises a deflector main body 17 and a metal keep plate 28 attached to the main body 27, an extended part 28c extended upto a spring engaging part 34 of the main body 27 is provoded in the plate 28, and a spring 39 is mounted tentionally between the extended part 28c and the engaging part 34 and a chassis 18.
