The valve (100) is mounted inside a modulator to control the hydraulic pressure provided by a main cylinder to a wheel cylinder. The valve contains a coil unit (102), an armature (104), a rod connected to the armature, a magnetic core (106) with a constant opening (111) and a piston (120) movably mounted beneath the core. The piston contacts the fixed opening in a slip control mode so that only the fluid inside a variable opening (121) passes to the wheel cylinder after passing via the constant opening and a fluid outlet line.
