The seal assembly is fitted to a distribution head (1) for a fluid product. It has an elastic element (5) which deforms under the fluid pressure resulting from action of the distribution system. The elastic element returns to its initial position after this action. The elastic element co-operates with the with a closed cylinder (3) that is connected to the distribution head and arranged in the same axis. The elastic element is formed as a cup, with a hole formed at its summit that partially covers the front of the cylinder.
