PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact transmission-preventing apparatus which can ease an impact by an excessive load and eliminate inconveniences resulting from an expansion or shrink of a damping member, and provide an apparatus which can be stably and correctly controlled by a stepping motor with use of the apparatus. SOLUTION: A damping apparatus prevents an impact by a load generated at a second wire 4b connected to a part to be driven from being transmitted to a first wire 4a connected to a stepping motor. In the apparatus, when the impact by the load of not smaller than a predetermined value is applied, connection between coupling members 3a and 3b coupling between the first and second wires 4a, 4b is released, thereby letting off the impact by the load.
