SUPERFRAME COMPOSITION METHOD USING GUARD SYMBOL IN OFDM-CDMA AND REFERENCE SIGNAL DETECT METHOD

PURPOSE: A method of constructing a super frame using a guard symbol and a method of extracting a reference signal are to construct the super frame in an information channel assigned to a user using the guard to transmit the reference signal to each other. CONSTITUTION: In the constructing method of the super frame, a guard symbol is inserted into every OFMD(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) frame. Then, in every fixed number times thereof, other guard symbol is inserted into every OFMD frame. In the extracting method of the reference signal, a received signal is sampled using a sampling unit. The sampled signals are multiplied by PN codes of the first guard symbol in order using the first correlating portion, then the multiplied values are added. The sampled signals are multiplied by PN codes of the second guard symbol in order using the second correlating portion, then the multiplied values are added. An output of the first correlating portion is compared with a predetermined boundary value. If the output of the first correlating portion is larger than the boundary value, a reference signal of the OFMD super frame is generated using the first comparing portion. An output of the second correlating portion is compared with a predetermined boundary value. If the output of the second correlating portion is larger than the boundary value, a reference signal of the OFMD super frame is generated using the second comparing portion.
