PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the curving of an absorber of a throw-away diaper of a shorts type. SOLUTION: An absorber 2 of this throw-away diaper 1 of shorts type is joined to an inside surface sheet 3 in front and rear girth areas 6 and 7 and a groin area 8 and are not joined to an outside surface sheet 4 in the front and rear girth areas 6 and 7. The inside and outside surface sheets 3 and 4 are not joined from the end edges 19 and 20 of the absorber 2 to the edge part 17 of a girth opening 11.
