PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install an indoor unit in a horizontal or vertical posture to a wall or the like by enabling installation of an indoor unit in a state wherein a long side is laid horizontally and a short side is erected vertically and in a state wherein the short side is laid horizontal and the long side is erected vertically. SOLUTION: An indoor unit 11 is provided with a casing 14, in an interior of which an indoor heat exchanger 15, an indoor blower 16, a drain pan 17, an electric controller and the like are installed. The indoor heat exchanger 15 is formed in a flat plate body, and a pipe for permitting a refrigerant to flow is provided with a spiral fin. When the indoor heat exchanger 15 of the indoor unit 11 is installed to a wall or the like in a posture of extending long horizontally, or in a window or the like in a posture of extending long vertically, drain water is made to always fall downward via a bottom end of the spiral fin. To a bottom side and a right side of the indoor heat exchanger 15 a drain pan 17 is installed and a drain pipe for draining the drain water out of a room is provided around an intersection thereof. |
