<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point retrieval device which easily specifies a point on a map for recognizing this position. SOLUTION: Plural n-th hierarchical items included in an n-th hierarchy ((n) is a natural number) are displayed as a menu, and one of them is selected as a selected n-th hierarchical item. Next, plural (n+1)th hierarchical items included in the (n+1)th hierarchy, corresponding to the selected n-th hierarchical items are displayed as a menu, and one of them is selected as a selected (n+1)th hierarchical item. This processing is repeated to finally display a map on a CRT, which includes a corresponding point which corresponds to the selected (n+1)th hierarchical item, and a pointing index which points the corresponding point is displayed on this map.</p> |
