SHADOW MASK FOR COLOR CATHODE-RAY TUBE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shadow mask having excellent properties and requiring no annealing treatment for improving press formability after pithole-forming treatment. SOLUTION: In a shadow mask having a low coefficient of thermal expansion and constituted of a base material composed of Ni-containing iron-base alloy, the base material composed of iron-base alloy has (220 to 300) N/mm2 0.2% proof stress and also has <=7.5 grain size by JISG0551, and further, the integration degree of respective planes measured by the X-ray diffraction method is <=20% and the difference of the degrees of integration of respective planes is <=20%. This shadow mask can be manufactured by carrying out press forming without performing annealing treatment before press forming.
