PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a composite material container avoiding inconveniences generated when a metal cover of a composite material container main body is to be seamed double. SOLUTION: An airtight composite material container 10 contains a nonmetal composite material container main body 11 and a metal over 12. The container main body and the cover are bonded together by a double seam 14. The double seam 14 is formed into the small dimension, which, as a result, forms a cause of saving important materials. The metal cover 12 is formed of a metal of small basis weight. Although the metal is of approximately less than 0.18 mm (0.007 inch) thickness, the generation of metal creases on the metal cover 12 is prevented substantially.
