摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the probability that communication of a mobile terminal is forcibly interrupted due to deficiency of an idle transmission band in a radio zone of a moving destination in the case of hand-off of the mobile terminal. SOLUTION: A mobile exchange station SW that applies setting control to communication channels has a means that grasps a transmission band of idle communication channels of radio zones ZN1-ZNi managed by radio base stations BS1-BSi under the control of the station SW. For example, on the occurrence of a hand-off request from a mobile terminal MS3 to the ZN2, the station SW discriminates whether or not an idle communication channel with a transmission band over the transmission band required by the mobile terminal MS3 is in existence in the radio zone ZN2 being a mobile destination and informs the mobile terminal MS3 of unavailability of the idle channel when not in existence. The mobile terminal MS3 informs the subscriber of the arrival of the idle channel unavailable notice by means of display or sound or the like. The subscriber can prevent forced interruption of communication by stopping the movement.
