<p>A dishwashing machine with at least one rotary assembly provided with sprayers (8) for spraying jets of washing liquid under pressure on to the articles which are loaded within the washing tub on to at least one basket. The rotary assembly comprises, on a tubular projection (11), a pair of oppositely disposed nozzles (17,18) which can be fed selectively by switchable means with the same liquid under pressure. The nozzles (17,18) generate thrust jets (19,20) which cause rotary movement of the rotary assembly in the two directions. According to the invention the switchable means which are preferably formed by a flap valve are actuated by a sensor device (30) for sensing obstacles which interfere with the plane of rotation of the rotary assembly.</p> |
