<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable setting for switching a multifunction PC card to a single- function PC card. SOLUTION: With a slide switch 2 on the multifunction PC card 1, the functions of the multifunction PC card 1 are set. A ROM in the multifunction PC card 1 stores attribute information on a function 1, attribute information on a function 2, and attribute information on the function 1 plus the function 2 independently by OS's, and necessary attribute information is loaded in the memory space of a personal computer as attribute information of the multifunction PC card 1 according to the position of the slide switch 2 and the kind of an OS.</p> |
