Security system for fire-arms based on a system which detects the correct position of fire arms by installing on the arm butt a transmitter (1)-receiver (11) device for example of radio frequencies which recognizes the presence of an external resonator (5) which vibrates in a specific frequency matching the frequency of the receiver (11) installed on the fire-arm (3); the resonator is mounted on a garment of the shooter for example on the jacket shoulder or on a glove in the case of a short fire-arm. With this security system, the fire-arm will not be fired accidentally and the firing pin will be actuated only if the butt is bearing against the jacket of the shooter in the firing position.
